Very thick and pretty The color is just as pictures for the taupe and we use it for our office. I love how plush it is and comfortable. It is not easy to vacuum but we just turn it on and turn the rotary brush off. Pet hair is never coming out of this thing but we knew and expected that when we bought it.

The Cozy Plush rugs are very nice and I have two of them, including the taupe. The last one I bought was the Milan Shag which has a silkier feel. Either one is great. Using a nice pad under both helps with the softness of the step. Hope this helps!

I ordered a swatch of the rug prior to making the purchase amd would recommend that you do too. It was free and came quicker that it stated for delivery time. It has more of a dominate brown hue to it. I have taupe pillows that are taupe/gray and it compliments it, however, putting the pillows directly on the floor makes it noticeably different.

My dog has had a few "accidents" on this rug, and I have used Resolve carpet stain remover, and it has come out fine!

Yes and no. Stains don't absorb into the material easy. But if it does get down into the threads its hard to get out because it's fairly dense (though it's a loose weave.) I've had mine over a year and just ordered another. One of my dogs peed on it and I didn't see it at all- so it soaked all the way through and dried. Trying to get all the way through the fibers to clean was impossible with my little hand held cleaner or spray and paper towels. A pro could clean it but this is all the carpet I have. Would cost more than a new rug just to get someone out. I was actually able to hose it down and it survived which was surprising. Most area rugs would disintegrate. I could probably put it back after hosing and cleaning but for this price I'd rather just have a new one. I've tried a lot of other $** rugs and these just hold up to the messes the best. The other option is to consider a thinner carpet for easier cleaning but we have all hard floors and I want something more comfy for my pooches. So it's a compromise as far as I am concerned.

The shag on the carpet is quite high and I don't think the chairs would slide well on it but if lifting the chairs while moving them they should move OK. We really like the rug, the shag is thick and nice. Vacuuming takes a little longer because some small items get way down in the pile of the rug. It might not do well under a dining room table due to spills or dropped food, it would be very hard to clean deep down in the long, heavy shag but if everyone is careful and no spills, why not. Bob.

I don't know. I am in Iowa and the rug is in Florida. Did not appear to be a washable rung (more like carpet). I wish that I could sell products that I don't have to know anything about and make my customers help other customers!

I don't know why it wouldn't be. I have spot cleaned mine already, it fine. I will shampoo it, it is a high shag. Real fluffy.
